1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email, phone), listings (titles, descriptions, photos, prices, location), payment transaction records (we never store card numbers), and messages sent through the platform. We also collect device information, usage data, and — with your permission — your device location (GPS / browser geolocation) to show listings near you. You can decline location and pick a city manually.
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account, facilitate transactions, process payments and prevent fraud, send service notifications, display relevant listings, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Your public profile, shop details and listings are visible to other users. We share data with payment processors strictly to process transactions, and with authorities where required by law.
4. Data Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit, protected by Row-Level Security so users can only access their own private data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect it.
5. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and revoke location or notification permissions at any time in your device/browser settings. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@emol.app.
6. Changes
We may update this policy and will post changes on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Emol constitutes acceptance.
